ARDEN HILLS, Minn. -- Bethel University's softball program returned home from Florida on Sunday, March 22, and exchanged days in the sun and 80-degree temperatures for clouds and mid-30's. Additionally, they traded a perfectly groomed field at Hancock Park and the National Training Center for a snow-covered surface at Bethel's Ona Orth Complex.

With that in mind, the Royals were forced to postponed their first two home contests of the 2015 schedule, including the conference-opener against St. Catherine University on Wednesday, March 25, and the nonconference matchup against UW-River Falls on Thursday, March 26.

Bethel will reschedule its game against the Wildcats for Friday, April 10 at 3:30 p.m., while the twin bill against the River Falls Falcons will be played on Monday, March 30 at 3:30 p.m. as well. The Royals will now plan to begin their MIAC campaign this Saturday at the University of St. Thomas, where they take on the Tommies at 1 p.m. in St. Paul.
