ST. PAUL—Bethel University's men's basketball team extended its win-streak Saturday, as they won their fourth consecutive game in a row with a 70-57 win at Macalester College. The Royals (5-1, 2-0 MIAC) used a 44-28 surge in the second half to overpower the Scots (2-4, 1-1 MIAC) at the Leonard Center.

Brycen Wojta led BU with 18 points—his sixth straight double-digit scoring affair—on 5-of-14 shooting and a 6-of-6 mark from the foul line. Wojta also swiped six steals, grabbed four rebounds and dished out two assists. Teammate,
Kyle Zimmermann collected his second consecutive double-double with a 16-point, 11-rebound performance, along with four blocks. Wojta and Zimmermann were joined in the double figures category by
Trevor Hall, who had a career high with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting.

The Royals cashed in on 41.5 percent (22-of-53) of their shots taken from the floor, while also connecting on 21-of-24 chances from the charity strip—including 10-of-10 in the final 5:40. Bethel had the advantage inside all afternoon, outscoring the Scots in the paint 26-12, while also owning an 18-7 margin in points off turnovers.

BU will host Concordia-Moorhead at the Robertson Center Gym Monday evening for a men's and women's double-header. The women will begin at 5:45 p.m. followed by the men.
