ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Bethel University men's soccer team fell to the Northwestern Eagles by a 1-0 score Friday afternoon. The Royals made the short trip down Snelling Avenue to the Northwestern campus and came up empty for the third time this season.
“Overall we played a much better game today,” head coach Jeremy Iwaszkowiec said. “We created some good scoring chances but couldn't finish. We are very young and with each game we continue to learn valuable lessons.”
The Royals will look to score their first victory of the season in their home opener Saturday at Noon against the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
