ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Bethel University men's soccer team made the long trip to Jamestown, North Dakota and were defeated 5-0 by the undefeated Jamestown College Jimmies. The Jimmies improved to 10-0 and are ranked #29 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The Royals fell to 1-8 on the year.

The Jimmies scored four of their five goals in the second period. They outshot the Royals 20-6 in the match. Freshman Stephen Gronseth (Fr., Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) had two shots on goal for the Royals.

The Royals will now travel to St. Paul Saturday night to take on Macalester College in a primetime matchup under the lights of Macalester Stadium at 7:30 p.m. The Royals are looking to even their record in the MIAC at 2-2. Macalester is currently 1-6-1 on the year.
