STORM LAKE, Iowa - Three goals between two days of play was enough for the Royals to win both of their games at the Buena Vista Classic. The Royals are now 2-0 to start the 2011 season.

On Friday the Bethel men took the field against host BVU, defeating the Beavers 1-0. The Royals outshot Buena Vista 18-4, as David Kim (Jr., Blaine, Minn.) assisted by Ryan Thompson (Fr., Bigfork, Mont.) scored for Bethel in the 26th minute of play.

Saturday the Royals faced off against Bethany Lutheran, going into double overtime before Bethel ended Bethany's hopes with another David Kim goal. This time Kim was assited by Nate Manthey (Sr., Rochester, Minn.) giving Bethel the 2-1 win at the 117 minute mark.

The Bethel men now 2-0 in 2011 will face the Crown College Storm on Tuesday in St. Bonifacious.
