WINONA, Minn. - The Royals improved to 2-1 in MIAC play on Saturday as they defeated Saint Mary's by a final of 1-0. Martin Manocchio scored the game winner for Bethel in the 62nd minute of play.

The Royals out shot the the Cardinals 15-9, while Leif Sundberg had two saves to shutout Saint Mary's.

Kolten Fisher and David Kim were also major contributors to the Bethel offensive effort as they each had three shots.

The Royals will take Sunday off before they return to action on Monday when they host Northwestern College at 4 p.m.
