CLERMONT, FL - Bethel shutout the University of Southern Maine today, defeating the Huskies 8-0 in 6 innings. Sophomore Rachel Gilbert (Becker, Minn.), and senior Steph Vosberg (Rochester, Minn.) each had 2 RBI's for the Royals. Bethel had 7 hits, scoring 8 runs and leaving only 6 on base.

Genna Bock (Jr., Circle Pines, Minn.) took the mound for the Royals, only allowing 5 hits, and striking out 5. The Royals had no errors in today's game. The win brings the Royals winning streak to 5.

With only 2 games left in spring break play the Royals will finish up warm weather play facing Luther College Saturday at  3:30 p.m. EST, and then Hope College at 7:30 p.m. EST.
