CLERMONT, FL - In their second game of the day the Royals face a tough Berry College squad. The Vikings got things going early as they put 4 runs on the board in the top of the 1st inning. The quick start help lead Berry over Bethel by a final of 11-2

The Royals Megan Matson, and Ashleigh Matheson each scored runs for the Royals in the 3rd and 6th innings respectively. Bethel had 12 hits on the day, leaving 11 on base. Starting at pitcher for the Royals Rebecca Akerson threw 5 innings, allowing 8 runs on 5 hits.

With the loss the Royals season record now sits at 4-6. The team will have a break in action tomorrow taking a day off in their full week of spring break play.
