BOX SCORE

SAINT PAUL, Minn.
- The Bethel University Royals couldn't extend their current 4-game win streak Wednesday night at Hamline University, as the Pipers defeated the Royals by a score of 76-69 at Hutton Arena.

Bethel played Hamline tough throughout the first half of play, collecting 30 points and keeping the Pipers six point lead within striking distance in the second half. Taylor Sheley (Jr., Backus, Minn.) had a phenomenal first half of play with 14 points and 4 rebounds.

Once again, during the second half, the Royals played the Pipers tough. However, Hamline's played matched Bethel's throughout as the Royals came up just short in the end. Sheley finished with a team-high 26 points while Scotti Moats (So., Waconia, Minn.) had 14 points and 4 rebounds on the night.

The Royals are back in action this weekend at the Robertson Center, where they will take on Augsburg College on Saturday afternoon. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
