BOX SCORE

MOORHEAD, Minn.
- Along with the men's team, the Bethel Women's Basketball team took the hardwood this afternoon against Concordia College. The women were rocking a two-game win streak prior to tip-off, and extended that streak this afternoon with another crucial MIAC victory, 65-63.

For the second straight time this season, Bethel took lead in the final 1:30 against Bethel, as the Cobbers stumbled in the final minutes of play. Bethel outscored Concordia 5-0 in the final three minutes of regulation to take the win and second victory against the Cobbers this year.

At one juncture, the Royals found themselves down by 14 points in the first half. That quickly changed at they went on a 5-0 run to end the first and carried that play over into the second half as they went on a 12-4 run to pull with one point of a tie ball game. Bethel closed out the game by connecting on five of six free throws.

Scotti Moats (So., Waconia, Minn.), Taylor Sheley (Jr., Backus, Minn.), and Shana Grejtak (Sr., Franklin, Minn.) all finished with 17 points to lead Bethel. Moats collected 10 boards off the glass.

The Royals will travel to Hamline University Wednesday evening to take on the Pipers. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m.
