Bethel Closes Off Regular Season With A 77-74 Victory Over The Scots.

Greg Meyer finished with a season-high 29 points in the victory over Macalester.

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.
- For the second time this season, Daniel Baah connected on the game-winning shot for the Bethel Royals, this time the team that fell victim was Macalester College. After a first half deficit, the Royals came back to claim a 77-74 victory over the Fighting Scots.

As stated, the Royals were down by 2 points heading into half time, but put together a phenomenal second half of play to close out the game and close out the regular season on a high note. Greg Meyer (So., Brooklyn Center, Minn.) put together a tremendous game for Bethel with 29 points. Meyer led the Royals offensive attack in the second, with Baah delivering the final blow to Macalester. Taylor Hall (So., Blaine, Minn.) also had a solid afternoon on the hardwood, as he finished the contest with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Luke Buttenhoff (Fr., Watertown, Minn.) led the team in rebounds on the afternoon with 9, and chipped in with 8 points as well.

With the victory, the Royals close out the 2010-11 season with an overall record 7-18 and 4-16 conference mark.
