BOX SCORE

NORTHFIELD, Minn.
– Seeking their first win in the month of February, the Bethel Royals will have to wait another game, as they fell to St. Olaf College 66-58 Wednesday evening.

For much of the first half, the Royals played solid basketball and had the lead entering into half time, 33-27. Momentum appeared to be on the Royals side and all signs pointed towards a victory.

Unfortunately, that lead could not be maintained throughout the second half with the Royals giving the lead up early in the half, and never regaining it back. St. Olaf managed to cling too their lead the rest of the game and came away with the 66-58 victory.

Despite the loss, the Royals had four players in double-figure scoring totals with Greg Meyer (So., Brooklyn Center, Minn.) leading the way with 19 points. Daniel Baah (Jr., Farmington, Minn.), Christian Skinner (Fr., Sioux Falls, S.D.), and Taylor Hall (So., Blaine, Minn.) each finished the game with 10 points apiece.

The Royals will close out the season Saturday afternoon at the Robertson Center where they will be taking on Macalester College. Game time is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
