ST. PAUL, Minn. - The men's soccer team was in action on Friday night traveling just down Snelling avenue to compete against the Scots of Macalester. In another low scoring game the Royals walked away with a 1-0 defeat bringing their record to 2-7-2 overall and 1-2-2 in the MIAC.

Key players in this match for the Royals included Brandon Peplinski (Sr., Maple Grove, Minn.), senior Greg LeVere (Fort Worth, Tex.), senior Andreas Scott (Cedar, Minn.), and junior #Brent Neihart (Prairie Village, Kan.) who all had the chance to score with one shot on goal in the match. Junior Leif Sundberg (Mahtomedi, Minn.) kept the match close for the Royals grabbing 9 saves.

The Royals will be in action next as they travel down to Carleton College on October 9th to face the Knights.
