MOORHEAD, Minn. - Three Royals finished the afternoon with double digit point figures as Bethel returned from their three hiatus to defeat Concordia 75-63 on the road.
The two teams played neck and neck for a majority of the first half, with Bethel finally pulling ahead in the last minute and a half. In the second half, Concordia narrowed their deficit to as little as two points, but Bethel surged and proved to be too much for the hosting Cobbers.

Nate Robertson (Jr., Forest Lake, Minn.) finished the afternoon with 17 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the floor and 5-for-5 shooting from the charity stripe. Robertson was just one rebound shy of earning a double-double in his 34 minutes of play.
Chris Vavra (Jr., Cambridge, Minn.) came in off the bench to score 14 points as the Royals' third highest scorer. Vavra has scored 10 or more points in seven of Bethel's nine games so far.
Mike Moberg (Sr., Plymouth, Minn.) corralled 10 rebounds to add to his team lead, giving him 89 on the year.
As a team, Bethel made more than 45 percent of their shots, but the big difference was in three-pointers and free throws. The Royals were 9-for-19 from behind the arc, while the Cobbers were just 5-for-14. Bethel made twice as many free throws as Concordia, capitalizing on 16 of their 22 shots from the line.
