Dr. Gene Glader coached at Bethel from 1959-81. He started the cross country & track programs at Bethel in 1961. Glader was the Head Cross Country Coach from 1961-80 and the Head Track & Field Coach from 1961-77. He lead the team to a be Gopher Badger Conference Champions in 1962 and Tri-State Conference Track Champions in 1977. Dr. Gene Glader also served as Men's Athletic Director from 1965-76.
