Amy Werner (Fr., Three Lakes, Wis.) played a big part in helping Bethel win two conference matches this past week. Against Augsburg, the freshman middle blocker had 26.5 points on 19 kills, three solo blocks, and nine block assists. Then, the following afternoon against Saint Mary's, she posted another team-high 14 kills along with six block assists to finish with 17 points. The Royals have now won five of their last seven matches heading into their last two. Werner leads the team by averaging 1.10 blocks per set.
