Bethel University Athletics

Freshman runner Matt Berens led the Bethel Royals to a third place finish at the 49th running of the prestigious Les Duke Invitational, hosted by Grinnell College. Berens finished in fourth place overall with a time of 26:47, helping the team to a total of 79 points. The next scheduled race for the Royals is the Roy Griak Invitational at the Les Bolstad Golf Course on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota on Sept. 24.
