Kevin Rengo enters his fifth season as an assistant track & field coach since joining the program in the fall of 2017. With the track & field program, he oversees the jumps, hurdles and multi events. Rengo was named the head coach for cross country on July 27, 2022

AT BETHEL
• 25 All-Americans in hurdles 
• 14 MIAC Champions
• Coached Joel Smith to a national-runner up finish in the 400m hurdles at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Championships  
• Guided Kelsie Sealock national runner-up in 100m hurdles at 2022 NCAA Outdoor Championships
• Coached Jayson Ekiyor to a national runner-up finish in his freshman season at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Championships
• Kelsie Sealock a four-time All-American in 100m hurdles and three-time All-American finish in 60m hurdles
• Hootie Hage named MIAC Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Year in 2024
• Grant Graber All-MIAC in 2024 with 15th place finish at conference meet
• Ruby Gernandt and Josie Harms All-MIAC in 2024 with 14th and 15th place finish at the conference meet

BEFORE BETHEL

• Four seasons at Ripon College  - coached 72 All-Midwest Conference athletes, 15 conference champions, four NCAA national qualifiers and one NCAA DIII National Champion while breaking 19 school records 
• University of Northwestern-St. Paul - coached two school record-holders, two UMAC champions, 10 All-Conference recipients and one NCCAA All-American
UW-River Falls - in one season coached eight student-athletes to school records and one to a conference championship, while overseeing one All-American relay team
• UW-River Falls Cross Country - coached three men's cross country student-athletes to top 20 times in the program's history

RUNNING EXPERIENCE
• Three-year captain in track & field at UW-River Falls
•  Qualified for the WIAC Championships in the pentathlon, decathlon and javelin
•  2011 WIAC Scholar-Athlete nominee for track & field
•  2010 Earl Blodgett Award winner for most dedicated member of the UW-River Falls cross country team
• Lettered and was named to the Scholastic Honor Roll in both cross country and track & field in each of four years with the teams
