In 2009, Valerie Smith graduated from Alexandria Jefferson High school.  She was a memerb of the volleyball and track teams.  Valerie earned awards for All-Conference in both, was named Volleyball Defensive MVP, Volleyball Coaches Award, and was a Captain of the volleyball team.  Smith graduated with honors, MSHSL Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, Academic All-State in track and volleyball, National Honor Society and was on the Honor Roll grades 10-12.  She is a senior in the athletic training program.  Valerie is the daughter of Sally and Brent Smith. 

Why Bethel?:  "I chose to come to Bethel because I love the great Christian surroundings and because I wanted to be in the Athletic Training major."
