Before Bethel: All-Conference Honorable Mention (Missota) selection in 2005... played for Club Dakota volleyball club.

At Bethel: Letter winner in 2006 and 2007...appeared in 79 games in 2007 averaging just over 2 digs per game...in best match recorded 17 digs versus Elmhurst.

Coach Hunt says, "Bethany is playing with a lot of confidence and she brings energy to the court.  She will need to be on the court for us a lot this season."

About Bethany:  Shearer graduated from Prior Lake High School in 2006.  She participated and lettered in volleyball and gymnastics.  She also earned awards for All Conference Honorable Mention in Volleyball, being a volleyball captain, and a Volleyball Spirit Award.  In her free time Bethany likes to waterski and play Dutch Blitz.  She is majoring in Nursing.

Why Bethel?:  "I chose to come to Bethel because I liked the atmosphere and everything Bethel had to offer."
