2008 Statistics
Before Bethel: All-Conference selection (MCAA) in 2004 (Honorable Mention), 2005, and 2006...Holds school career digs record...Played club volleyball for Minnetonka Juniors and Crossfire VBC...2005-06 Crossfire team had top 10 finish at Northern Lights and the USAV National Invitational.
At Bethel: Letter winner in 2007...did not appear in a Varsity match, but played extensively on the junior varsity as a setter and hitter...was part of the NCAA tournament play-off roster.
Coach Hunt says, "Annika came into season in great shape and you could tell she worked hard over the summer. She needs to be ready to make the jump to varsity, and I think she is. She is a well-trained and consistent player."
About Annika: Avery graduated from Southwest Christian High School in 2007. During high school she participated and lettered in volleyball. She also earned awards for Valedictorian and MCAA All Conference Honorable Mention, 1st Team, and 2nd Team. In her free time Annika likes to read, run, waterski, and play piano. She is is majoring in Finance and International Business.
Why Bethel?: "I chose to come to Bethel because I wanted to go to a Christian college and Bethel seemed like the perfect fit."
