Missy Rock enters her fifth season as an assistant coach with the Bethel cross country programs. Coach Rock is the most decorated cross country athlete in NCAA DIII women's history, and also happens to be the wife of Bethel's head track and field coach and Olympic Gold Medalist, Andrew Rock.

As a collegiate athlete at Wartburg College, Missy (Buttry) became the first women in NCAA history to win three consecutive cross country national championships. In track she won 11 different NCAA national titles as well, earning a total of 18 All-American honors during her storied career. Post-collegiatley, Missy was a member of the USA World Cross Country team in 2004 and 2005, winning the Bronze medal at the 2005 World Cross Country Championships. She also finished 8th in the 2004 Olympic trials in the 5000M. Missy holds a Personal Best in the 5000 of 15:37.48.

Coach Rock earned her degree in 2005 from Wartburg in social work. She lives in Prior Lake with husband Andrew, and their four children.
