Tyler Schmidt begins year three as the Head JV Men's Basketball Coach. A 2014 graduate of Bethel, Schmidt was a four-year member of the Bethel men's basketball team. In his final season with the Royals, Schmidt was one of the MIAC's best shooters, as he shot 40 percent from the floor and 40.2 percent from outside the 3-point line. Schmidt was 36-of-90 from downtown. Schmidt, who teaches English at Coon Rapids Middle School, and his wife, Chanel, live in Plymouth.
