As a graduate from Luck High School in 2011, Landen attended the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire before finding himself at Bethel.  In high school, Strilzuk was an all-conference player in football as well as recognized as an all-district running back.  As a member of the track team, he reached the state level in the long jump twice.  His accomplishments were extended to academics as he was a member of the Cardinal Intelligence Agency (CIA) and made the honor roll. Parents Steve and Alicia Strilzuk support Laden as he majors in Elementary Education with a planned career as a teacher.
