John is a 2012 graduate from Chanhassen, Minnesota, where he participated in Football and track and field.  He was All-Conference Honorable Mention in both football and track and field, as well as team captain in football. John was the recipient of the Chub Bettels Award and the Vale Trophy Award.  Son of Tom and Laurie Dunn, John plans on going into physical therapy in the future.  Transfer from St Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
