Jacob is a 2018 graduate of Harvest Community School in Jacksonville, FL, and is the son of Jonathon Mathis Sr. and Lashawnda Mathis. He was an honor roll student, a captain, was named All-Conference, All-State Honorable Mention, and was part of the Sunshine Coastal Division championship team. His best performance was completing 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, 6 pass breakups, and 9 tackles. Jacob is majoring in Business Management.
