Jordan Dornbush, a graduate of Mounds View High School (‘11) and then Wheaton College (’15), joins the Bethel staff for his first year in 2019 as the defensive line coach. Dornbush was on the coaching staff at Al Raby High School in Chicago for four seasons before joining the Royals. As the defensive coordinator, Dornbush’s squad allowed just 9.42 points per game against their seven public school league opponents while creating 23 takeaways in 2018. The 2017 season saw the Raiders make it all the way to the Illinois state semifinals, one of just four Chicago public schools to ever make the semifinals, while allowing just one passing touchdown.
Dornbush is currently area rep for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and resides in Brooklyn Center with his wife Kathryn and daughters Esther and Elizabeth.
