In 2010, J.D. Mehlhorn graduated from Lakeville South High School.  There he participated in football and basketball and earned 7 letters, was All-Conference and All-State Honorable Mention in football and was named captain for both sports.  Mehlhorn was actively involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, DECA, National Honor Society, and graduated Sumama Cum Laude.  J.D. is a double major in Physics and Biokinetics with a minor in Mathematics.  He plans to have a career in human performance research and strength coaching.  He is the son of Al and Cindy Mehlhorn and looks forward to playing with his younger brother this football season.
