About Erik: Smith graduated from Henning High School in 2009.  During high school he participated and lettered in football, basketball, and track.  He also earned awards for Football Team MV-Offensive Back, All Conference Football, Football Team MV-Def Back, Football Team MVP, Football Conference MV-Def Back, Football Prairie Conference MV-Def Player, Academic All State Football, Track Team MVP, Academic State Excel Award, and the Sub-Section Triple A Award.  Erik is majoring in Engineering.  After he graduates from Bethel University, Smith is planning on working as an engineer for an aircraft manufacturing company sucy as Boeing.

Why Bethel?:  "I chose to come to Bethel for the rigorous academics."
