About Jared:  Penz graduated from Rochester Mayo High School in 2008.  During high school he participated and lettered in football and hockey.  He also earned awards for being Captain and for All Conference.  In his free time Jared likes to golf and play wiffle ball.  He is majoring in Business.  After he graduates from Bethel University, Penz is planning on starting a restaurant.

Why Bethel?:  "I chose to come to Bethel because of the tough academics and the great football
program."
