About Reid:  Velo graduated from Nashwauk-Keewatin High School in 2006.  During high school he participated and lettered in football, basketball, baseball, NHS, Knowledge Bowl, and Math Team.  He also earned awards for All State Baseball, Minnesota's Mr. Football Top 10 Finalist, Minnesota's Wendy's High School Heisman, Academic All State Football, U.S. Bank Five Star Student, and Honor Roll-Leadership.  In his free time Reid likes to play disc golf, 4-wheel, travel, and read.  He is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Philosophy.  After he graduates from Bethel University, Velo is planning on either attending Grad School in Sports Psychology or attending Seminary.

Why Bethel?:  "I chose to come to Bethel because of the outstanding facilities, academics, and athletics, but more so because it just felt right."
