Before Bethel: All-State 1st Team in 2003... MNVBCA All-Star Game participant... 2A All-Tournament Team selection at AVolleyball State Tournament in 2003... State Tournament participant in 2002 and 2003... All-Conference selection in 2002 (Hon. Mention) and 2003... three sport athlete.

At Bethel: Naig had to be patient as the backup to All-Conference and All-Region setter Katie Snyder, who graduated in 2005... in 2006 as her first year as a full-time starter she racked up 1283 assists for an average of 10.87 per game... was named to the All-Tournament team at the very competitive Emory University Invitational in 2006... Team voted co-recipient of the MVP award in 2006... also a starter on the Bethel fastpitch softball team.

Coach Hunt says, "Laura is our glue and she holds us together. She has the rare ability to compete against her teammates, and at the same time teach them how they can get better. She is developing a great strategic mind for the game and her role as setter."
