ST. CLOUD, MINN.—The Bethel University women's cross country team competed at the Saint John's / Saint Benedict Toni St. Pierre Invitational, held at the River Oaks Golf Course in Cold Spring, Minnesota on Friday. The Royals came in sixth place out of eight teams with 162 points. Carleton claimed the team title with 26 points, while Ingrid Norquist (Macalester) won the individual crown with a 21:58.7. 

Hannah Barberg commanded the Royals with a 26th-place time of 23:56.8, followed by Emerson Mullen's 29th-place time of 24:01.6. Kiara Gentz took 34th place with a 24:14.6, while Ava Nibbelink's 24:21.5 put her in 37th place. Brylee Cavanaugh followed in 48th place with a 24:49.8 while Olivia Danielson (24:52.7) and Talya Arend (25:53.6) rounded out the top seven Bethel finishers.

Paige Budde (26:09.9), Abby Williamson (26:13.0), Marianna Zanton (26:44.2), and Elliana Leach (27:32.1) also represented Bethel.

The Royals will compete at Pre-Nationals, hosted by Carleton in Northfield, Minnesota on Saturday, October 3.
