RESULTS

HASTINGS, MINN.—The second meet of 2026-27 was upon the Bethel University women's golf team, who competed at the Gustavus D3 Classic at the Emerald Greens in Hastings, Minnesota on Saturday and Sunday. The Royals took fifth place out of 18 schools at the two-day event with a (+45) 621 that consisted of scores of 319 in round one, and a 302 in round two. Winning the D3 Classic Team title was Saint Benedict, who carded a (+35) 611. The individual crown belonged to Zoe Keene (Concordia (Wis.), who shot a (-2) 142.

Freshman Tori Peterson led Bethel for the second-straight tournament with a (+6 ) 150, which put her tied for fifth place out of 112 finishers. Peterson's score included a (+4) 76 in round one, and a (-2) 74 in round two.

Coming in tied for eighth place was Sophie Brantner, whose (+7) 151 made up of a (+7) 79 in round one, and a (E) 72 in round two.

Courtney Hershberger's (+14) 158 put her tied for 26th place after shooting an (+9) 81 in the opening round, and shaving four strokes for a round-two total of (+5) 77.

Rounding out the main Bethel lineup was Lily Lundgren's (+20) 164, and Christina Scheid's (+20) 164.

The Bethel "B" Squad finished tied for 13th place with a (+100) 337.

Raelynn Pannhoff (+13) 157, Josie Brantner, (+17) 161, Kendall Hoag (+24), 168, Anna Pitts (+28), 172), and Laura Vernon (+31) 175 round out the Bethel "B" Squad. 

The Royals will return to action the St. Kate's Invitational on September 19-20 at Eagle Valley in Woodbury, Minnesota, and the Braemar Golf Course in Edina, Minnesota.
