SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Bethel University women's track & field team had individuals compete at the Macalester Rider/Bolstorff Invitational, and Drake Relays on Friday and Saturday.
RIDER/BOLSTORFF INVITATIONAL (RESULTS)
AnnaGrace Nelson cleared the bar at 3.21 in the pole vault, good enough for third place. Lucy Upton kept the third-place trend going with an 18:13.71 in the 5000 meter run. Anna Cargill followed with an 18:32.28 in the 5000, good enough for fourth place.
Adelyn Ellefson registered a fifth-place time of 1:00.75 in the 400 meter run. Nora Larsen took fifth place with a 48.00m in the hammer.
DRAKE RELAYS (RESULTS)
The 4x400 meter relay team of Madi Pelowski, Ashley Slaybaugh, Hannah Bingham, and Shalom Sulungaine took first place with a 3:44.97 in the prelims, which ranks fourth in the country and is a new school record. It surpasses the previous school record mark of 3:45.75 achieved by Hannah Sankey, Delia Labatt, Erin Alpers, and AddieKay Johnson in 2018.
They went on to notch a 3:48.77 in the finals, good enough for eighth place.Â
The 4x100 meter relay team of Ella Paulson, Autumn Maki, Raina Kaping, and Alethia Olson-Skog achieved a 23rd-place time of 48.62 in the prelims.
Anna Speratos registered a 13th-place toss of 53.21m in the hammer throw.
The Royals will compete at the MIAC Championship in the Heptathlon on April 30-May 1 at Carleton College, as well as the Hamline Meet of the UnSaintly on Friday, May 1.
