RESULTS
ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Bethel University women's track & field team competed at the Saint John's/Saint Benedict Invite on Thursday, where they took second place out of nine teams with 149.5 points. Saint Benedict won the team title with 211.5 points.Â
Michaela Zenz won the 100 meter hurdle title with a 15.12.Â
The 200 meter dash title belonged to Shalom Sulungaine, who crossed the finish line at 25.47.
The titles continued to roll in the 400 meter dash courtesy of Madi Pelowski, who registered a 56.86.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Pelowski, Slaybaugh, Hannah Bingham, and Sulungaine crossed the finish line at 3:50.59, which put them in first place and at No. 10 in the country. The 4x100 meter relay team of Ella Paulson, Autumn Maki, Raina Kaping, and Alethia Olson-Skog achieved first place with a 47.97.
It was another day at the office for Anna Speratos, who achieved a first-place toss of 53.39m in the hammer throw. First place was also in the cards for Nora Larsen, who finished with a 13.26m in the shot put.
A plethora of third-place marks were had courtesy of Olson-Skog in the 100 meter dash (12.58), Bingham in the 400 meter hurdles (1:05.31), Ellie Hernes in the high jump (1.53m), and Ashley Slaybaugh in the 200 meter dash (26.15).
The Royals will compete at the University of Minnesota Invite on Wednesday, April 22.
