RESULTS
ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Bethel University women's track & field team hosted the Gene Glader Invitational at Royal Stadium on Saturday. The meet was called off due with three events left (200 meter dash, 5000 meter run, and 4x400 meter relay) due to weather.Â
Anna Speratos prevailed with a school-record 54.23m in the hammer throw, good enough for first place in the meet and a No. 3 national ranking. That mark ups her previous school-record of 53.45 achieved in 2025.Â
Nora Larsen followed with a second-place toss of 46.75m in the hammer, while Rachel Wehrman notched a fourth-place throw of 44.55m. Larsen carried that momentum into the shot put, where she took second place with a 12.54m.
The 4x100 meter relay team of Alethia Olson-Skog, Raina Kaping, Autumn Maki, and Ella Paulson claimed first place with a 48.08, which ranks 31st in the country. Olson-Skog also crossed the finish line at 12.52 in the 100 meter dash, good enough for eighth place.
Ellie Hernes registered a pair of second-place marks in the long jump (5.49m) and triple jump (11.40m). Jordan Stanislowski followed with a seventh-place leap of 5.24m in the long jump, and a fifth-place mark of 10.72m in the triple jump.Â
Michaela Zenz was stellar in the 100 meter hurdles, where she notched a seventh-place time of 15.48 in the prelims followed by a fourth-place time of 15.31 in the finals.Â
The pole vault saw Emily Pearson take sixth place with a 3.36m, and AnnaGrace Nelson claim seventh with a 3.36m.
The Royals compete at the Saint Benedict/Saint John's Invitational on Saturday, April 18.
