ROGERS, MINN.—The Bethel University men's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 victory over UW-Stevens Point at the Rogers Tennis Center on Friday night.
The Royals improve to 7-1, while the Pointers fall to 8-9.

Doubles resulted in a 7-5 win from Dylan Magistad/Carter Sheard at No. 1, a 6-4 victory from Zack Chaffey/Watson Sheard at No. 2, and a 6-2 triumph from Micah Gustafson/Zach Bengtson at No. 3.
Carter Sheard kept things rolling in singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1, while Magistad took care of business 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2. Chaffey gutted out a 6-4, 1-6, 1-0 (12-10) victory at No. 3, as did Watson Sheard 6-0, 6-4 at No. 4. Rounding out the Royals victories was Kade Bishop 7-5, 6-4 at No. 5, and Gustafson 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6.
The Royals will return to action in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, March 15, when they face St. Norbert at 3 p.m. (ET).
