RESULTS
ST. PAUL, MINN.—The Bethel University women's track & field team competed at the Hamline Invitational on Monday.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Morgan Dean, Adyson Gerbig, Hannah Bingham, and Shalom Sulungaine claimed the title with a 4:00.00. Madi Pelowski, Ashley Slaybaugh, Brianna Hexum, and Adelyn Ellefson weren't far behind with a second-place time of 4:00.26.
Michaela Zenz kept the titles rolling in the 100 meter hurdles, where she crossed the finish line at 15.17.
Second place was the case for Anna Hay in the 3000 meter steeplechase (11:37.20), Sulungaine in the 400 meter dash (54.76), and Nora Larsen in the shot put (13.51m). Third place was achieved by Larsen in the discus (39.08m), Pelowski in the 400 meter dash (57.18), and Anna Speratos in the hammer throw (49.54m).
A plethora of fourth-place marks were accomplished by the Royals courtesy of Emily Pearson's 3.20m in the pole vault, Larsen's 48.45m in the hammer throw, Slaybaugh's 57.88 in the 400 meter dash, and Alethia Olson-Skog's 12.45 in the 100 meter dash.
The Royals will host the Gene Glader Classic on Saturday, April 11.
