ST. PAUL, MINN.—The Bethel University women's tennis team opened 2026 MIAC play with a 7-0 road victory over Macalester on Sunday.
The Royals stay unbeaten at 12-0, 1-0 MIAC, while the Scots fall to 5-4, 0-1 MIAC.

Bethel cruised to a perfect doubles flight thanks to a 6-0 victory from Lauryn Douglas/Michaella Sullivan at No. 1, a 7-6 (8-6) decision from Claire Keller/Zadie Walvatne at No. 2, and a 6-1 win from Payton Douglas/Elisabeth Langhus at No. 3.
The singles flight was also perfect for Bethel. The winning began with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph from Lauryn Douglas at No. 1. Next was Malia McKinnon, who prevailed 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5, followed by a 6-3, 6-2 win from Claire Keller at the No. 3 spot. Michaella Sullivan was victorious 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2, while the No. 6 position saw Zadie Walvatne secure a 6-4, 6-0 win. Elisabeth Langhus rounded out Bethel with a 7-5, 6-4 victory at No. 4.
The Royals will host St. Catherine at the Ona Orth Complex on Tuesday, March 31 at 4:30 p.m.
