RIVER FALLS, WIS.—The Bethel University baseball team picked up a 22-15 road victory over UW-River Falls on Wednesday evening.
The Royals improve to 10-4, while the Falcons fall to 5-4.

Both teams combined for 30 hits. The Royals accounted for 17 of them, which included eight for extra bases. Five of them were home runs. Seth Nelson finished 2-for-4 with a solo home run in the second inning, a two-run home run in the eighth inning, three walks, three RBI, and two runs scored. Sam Abbas's 3-for-6 outing included a two-run home run in the third inning, an RBI double in the fifth inning, five RBI, one walk, and two runs scored.
Hayden Sperbeck was 3-for-5 with two doubles, three runs scored, three RBI, and two walks. With a team-leading seven at-bats was Chris Cannon, who was 4-for-7 with one double, four RBI, and three runs scored. Chris Lavin was 1-for-4 with one double, three runs scored, one RBI, and two walks while Ben Trucke finished 2-for-5 with one run scored.
Mark Anderson got the pitching win. He surrendered four hits, three runs, two walks, and notched six strikeouts. Jay Krieger, Brandon Witter, Cavan Banks, Trevor Lee, Jacob Tobritzhofer, and Owen Mortimer each saw pitching time in relief for Bethel.
The Royals will open MIAC play at Hargis Park against Hamline (DH) on Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m.
