ORLANDO, FLA.—The Bethel University men's tennis team concluded their 2026 spring trip with a perfect 6-0 record following a 7-0 victory over Colby-Sawyer at the USTA National Campus in Orlando on Friday.
The Royals move to 13-1, while the Chargers fall to 5-6.

Bethel won 2-of-3 doubles matches courtesy of Carter Sheard/Dylan Magistad 6-0 at No. 1, and Micah Gustafson/Zach Bengtson 6-2 at No. 3.
The Royals won all six singles matches. Ryan Reid took care of business 6-3, 6-3 at No. 6 singles, as did Carter Sheard 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1. Zack Chaffey won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4, while Kade Bishop continued to establish himself as one of the best No. 5 singles player in all of NCAA Division III with a 6-1, 6-2 defeat. Watson Sheard prevailed 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3. Magistad rounded out the singles matches with a narrow 6-2, 6-7 (2-7), 1-0 (10-5) win at No. 2.
Bethel will open MIAC play at Macalester on Sunday, March 29 at 6 p.m.
