NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Bethel University men's basketball team dropped a 96-82 road decision to St. Olaf on Wednesday night.
The Royals fall to 9-11, 6-6 MIAC, while the Oles improve to 14-7, 10-2 MIAC.

St. Olaf never surrendered the lead in a game that ended with them shooting .547 (35-of-64), and a perfect 19-of-19 from the free throw line. Kobe Kirk and AJ Uhl had a a lot to do with that as they scored 25 and 24 points, respectively.Â
Blake Schmitz carried the Royals on his shoulders with a team-leading 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting and five rebounds. Next was Nick Burke's 16 points, while Sam Gingras rounded out the double figure Royals with 15 points. Jay Neubert tied for a team-leading five boards, and scored nine points for a Bethel team that shot .508 (30-of-59) and .833 (15-of-18) from the charity stripe.Â
The Royals will host St. Scholastica on Saturday, February 7 at 3 p.m.
