WINONA, MINN.—The Bethel University men's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 road victory over Saint Mary's (Minn.) on the road on Friday afternoon.
The Royals improve to 5-1, while the Cardinals fall to 4-6.

Bethel's doubles victories consisted of a 6-2 decision from Carter Sheard/Dylan Magistad at No. 1, a 6-0 win from Zack Chaffey/Watson Sheard at No. 2, and a 6-1 triumph from Micah Gustafson/Zach Bengtson at No. 3.
The singles flight saw Carter Sheard win 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1, while Magistad was victorious 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2. Chaffey took care of business 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3, as did Watson Sheard 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4. Rounding out the Royals singles victories was Kade Bishop 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5, and Gustafson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6.
Bethel will host UW-La Crosse at Roger Tennis Cub on Sunday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m.
