ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University men's hockey senior goaltender Austin Ryman was named February 23 MIAC Men's Hockey Defensive Player of the Week. This is Ryman's second MIAC Player of the Week honor of the season after he earned the distinction on November 10.

Defensive: Austin Ryman (Bethel)
Ryman registered a 37-save shutout in the Royals' 2-0 victory at St. Olaf on February 20. That marked Ryman's second shutout of the season, which leads the MIAC.
The Fairbanks, Alaska native has a .923 save percentage, 396 saves, a 2.44 goals against average, and a 9-5-2 win-loss record over 19 games played and 14 starts.
Ryman and the No. 4 seed Royals will host No. 5 seed St. Olaf at the Robertson Center on Wednesday, February 25 at 7 p.m.
