ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Bethel University men's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 victory over UW-Superior at the Duluth Indoor Sports Center on Friday.
The Royals improve to 4-1, while the Yellowjackets fall to 3-4.

Bethel swept doubles courtesy of a 6-0 victory from Dylan Magistad/Carter Sheard at No. 1, a 6-3 decision from Zack Chaffey/Watson Sheard at No. 2, and a 6-0 win from Micah Gustafson/Zach Bengtson at No. 3.
The singles flight also resulted in a sweep for the Royals. Carter Sheard prevailed 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 1-0 (11-9) at No. 1, while Magistad was victorious 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2. Chaffey cruised to a 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) win at No. 3. Watson Sheard capitalized at No. 4 by a 0-6, 6-0, 1-0 (11-9) margin. Rounding out the Royals' perfect team score was Kade Bishop's 6-4, 6-1 decision at No. 5, and Micah Gustafson's 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 triumph at No. 6.
The Royals will travel to Saint Mary's (Minn.) on Friday, February 27 for a 5 p.m. match.
