ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University women's hockey senior goaltender Ashley Gustafson (Hess) was named February 16 MIAC Women's Hockey Defensive Player of the Week. This is Bethel's third MIAC weekly honor of the season, and the second of Gustafson (Hess)'s career after she earned the distinction on January 6, 2025.

Defensive: Ashley Gustafson (Hess) (Bethel)
Gustafson (Hess) recorded a 26-save shutout in a 4-0 win over Concordia (Minn.) on February 14, and notched 25 stops in a 2-1 victory over the Cobbers on February 13.
The Zimmerman, Minnesota native ranks third in the conference with three shutouts and a .938 save percentage, while her 1.71 goals against average is fourth in the MIAC.
Gustafson (Hess) and the Royals will host St. Olaf for senior night at the National Sports Center on Friday, February 20 at 7 p.m.
