Royals Dominate UW-Stout Quad

MENOMONIE, WIS.—The Bethel University women's track & field team competed at the UW-Stout Quad on Saturday. 

Anna Hay captured the 5000 meter run title with an 18:57.57. The Royals swept the 5000 meter run podium courtesy of Ava Nibbelink (19:57.28), Abby Williamson (20:37.12), and Marianna Zanton (21:41.09).

The triple jump resulted in a second-place mark of 10.45m for Jordan Stanislowski. The weight throw also resulted second place for the Royals as Anna Speratos registered a toss of 16.73m.

Next was Peyton Swenson, who took fourth with a 10.22m. The fourth-place trend continued courtesy of Nora Larsen (Wilhelm)'s 12.58m in the shot put, while Rachel Wehrman took eighth with a 11.59m.

The mile run saw Anna Cargill capture seventh place with a 5:32.05, followed by Brylee Cavanaugh's eighth-place time of 5:34.54. Emerson Mullen took eighth place in the 800 meter run (2:28.52), while Kiara Gentz claimed ninth place (2:29.54). Ninth place was in the cards for Raina Kaping, who crossed the finish line at 26.98 in the 200 meter dash.

The Royals will compete at the University of Minnesota Snowshoe Open on Friday, February 20.
