WINONA, MINN.—The No. 24 Bethel University women's basketball team dropped a 62-47 road decision to Saint Mary's (Minn.) on Saturday afternoon.
The Royals fall to 14-5, 9-3 MIAC, while the Cardinals improve to 15-5, 9-3 MIAC.

Saint Mary's led from start-to-finish in a game that saw them hold Bethel to .269 (14-of-52) shooting while their offense converted a .444 (20-of-45) clip from the field. Rylie Sternquist had a lot to do with the Cardinals' success on both ends of the floor with 20 points, five steals, two assists, and four rebounds. Kali Olson was equally effective with a double double 12 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks while Brianna Nusbaum rounded out the double figure Cardinals with 15 points.
Colette Duininck paced Bethel on both ends with 10 points and five steals. The Royals got scoring from 10 players, which played a role in their 24-5 advantage in bench points. Macey Littlefield was a force off the bench with eight points, two steals, one block, and two assists.Â
The Royals will host St. Olaf at Robertson Center Gymnasium on Wednesday, February 4 at 7 p.m.
