ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Bethel University women's basketball team cruised to a 71-36 victory over St. Olaf at the Robertson Center Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
The Royals improve to 15-5, 10-3 MIAC, while the Oles fall to 5-15, 0-13 MIAC.

Bethel's defense held the Oles to .190 (8-of-42) shooting in the contest. It was the lowest from an opponent since December 6, 2014, when they surrendered a .174 (12-of-69) mark in a 58-35 win over St. Olaf at the Robertson Center. It led to a season-low 36 points from the opposition. The Royals also forced a season-best 31 turnovers, which turned into 17 steals in the contest.Â
Six of those steals belonged to Alli Born. Elly Schmitz followed with four steals to go with a team-leading 14 points and five rebounds. Also with 14 points for Bethel was Emily Erickson. Rosalie Penke rounded out the double figure Royals with 11 points. Cally Peterson had a team-leading three assists as well as two steals and six points for a Royals squad that shot .388 (26-of-67) in the contest.Â
Elise Hahn was all over the stat sheet with 10 points, eight rebounds, five blocks, three steals, and two assists for St. Olaf.
The Royals will host St. Scholastica at the Robertson Center Gymnasium on Saturday, February 7 at 1 p.m.
